What should we pay attention to when screen printing glass?

Silk screen printing is a small process in the processing of silk screen glass. Silk screen glass uses high-temperature ink to form patterns on the surface of the glass through a screen printing process. After tempering or high-temperature baking, the ink is tightly combined with the glass surface. Unless the glass is broken, the patterns and glass will not separate. Many patterned glass on the market is silk printed. When screen printing glass, the following points should be noted:

1. Preparation before printing: In order to achieve good printing results, screen printing must be done well. The tension of the mesh, the stability of the mesh frame, and the error in pattern production should not exceed 0.05mm. The pulling of the mesh can be more specific, selecting the appropriate mesh size of the screen, and at that time, some screens also need to be made with a 45 degree diagonal drawing plate.

2. Screen printing production workshop environment: The most important thing during the processing of glass screen printing panels is the workshop environment. It is best to have a 100000 level dust-free workshop, where workers wear electrostatic clothing, masks, and hats. Maintain a certain level of stability and humidity in the workshop.

3. Selection of silk screen glass ink: Why choose brand ink for ink? The main reason is that good ink has good quality, finer particles, and better adhesion. Due to the special nature of glass, we can choose low-temperature ink and high-temperature ink for ink. Low temperature ink is generally a dual component ink. High temperature ink is a single component, and the diluent needs to be mixed with a special diluent. Remember not to use 783 ink for mixing. High temperature ink only exhibits good adhesion after glass tempering.

4. Printing of semi transparent windows: The most important aspect of glass screen printing is the printing of semi transparent windows. This printing requires high requirements, such as no small particle points, no scraper marks, and a required transparency index that cannot change too much.

5. Post press packaging treatment: After glass screen printing, it should be packaged in thin film plastic bags and then isolated with pearl cotton. This can effectively avoid secondary scratches.
